Up for sale is a well-preserved 1970 Gibson Dove acoustic guitar in natural finish. Renowned for its rich, balanced tone and beautiful projection, the Dove has remained one of Gibson’s most respected acoustic models. This example delivers the warm, articulate voice that has made it a favorite among performers, recording artists, and collectors alike. The guitar features a spruce top, maple back and sides, three-piece maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and adjustable bridge. The neck is comfortable, the action is low, and the truss rod works properly with adjustment available. Condition is very good for its age, showing only normal cosmetic wear including finish checking, light scratches, and pick wear. The bridge and pickguard have been securely re-glued, and the pickguard crack has been repaired. There are no cracks or significant structural repairs to the wood. Frets have approximately 70% life remaining and play cleanly throughout the neck. Everything remains original except for the replaced bridge pins. Includes the original Gibson hardshell case.
