MCM Metal Sculpture Human in Flying Machine Plane Ship Tricycle C. Jere-inspired, wall hanging, $1295 Is it a plane, a ship, a glider or a hybrid? Awesome detail of human navigating a fantastical flying machine contraption through time and space ... Whimsical, imaginative and fun, modern yet retro, brutalist steampunk art. Mid century modern vibe. Has the basic shape of a vintage airplane with propeller but with additional gliders attached and a coil that resembles the rudder of a steamship. The curled coil easily vibrates with the slightest movement, air breeze or touch. It bears some resemblance to a piece of art titled, "The Flying Machine." The positioning of the pilot bears resemblance to the "1911 Curtiss Pusher Aircraft" or represents an evolution of aircraft and flying. Use your imagination to fly around the world in 80 days. Made of thin sheets of worked metal, copper in color and various steampunk with numerous intricate gadgets and gears. The more you look ... the more you notice.
