The listing

Lot of eight (8) wood handled tools that are very old. They are in used condition but still very useful and so well made. Six of the 8 tools also have a steel rim between the wood and the tool itself. Many of these are early to mid-20th century machinist or "pattern maker" tools, often featuring round bolster caps or fluted wooden grips. These older screwdrivers typically feature "thru-tang" or "Hurwood" construction, where the steel blade extends entirely through the handle. As they say..."They just don't make them like this anymore"! This collection includes various style handles, from large wooden bulges designed for high toque to thinner, slender wooden handles used for precision tasks. They date back to the pre-plastic eara, often spanning from the 1920s to the 1950s. When you look at the photo there are 4 flat head screwdrivers that measure: 11" (Quantity = 2) Shown in the 2nd photo-took a photo of the chrome as it has a design on them-not Stanley Hurwood marks 10" 8 1/2" 5 1/2" Ice Pick 9 1/2" Leather hole making tool: (I believe that's what it is) 8 1/2" Stanley Tools scratch awl/pick ice tool No 7 Hurwood Made in U.S.A.
