Gentle Perlino Mare

The listing

Meet Meadow… Meadow is a 2012 model quarter horse. She is a beautiful Perlino that’s as wide as she is tall. This girl is THICK. She stands around 14.3/15 hands. She is selling grade. No papers. This girl is built right. She has nice clean legs. Solid feet that don’t need shoes. She’s sound and healthy in every way. And she’s a very easy keeper. She loves attention. Loads and hauls nicely. Likes bathes. Can be kept in pasture, paddock, or stall. Super easy to catch. Usually comes right up when called out in a big pasture. Tends to be towards the top of the pecking order. Although my one mare does boss her around. Meadow has mainly been a pasture puff the last few years. She was started under saddle, but never “finished”. So although you can hop on her bareback with just a halter, she still needs more training to be “finished”. As she’s more a point and go double rein type of ride. Nothing fancy. She’s very gentle and sweet. She has never tried to buck, rear, kick, or bite when we’ve worked with her Her previous owners had kids that crawled all over her. She’s pretty smart and retains what you teach her. She’s very willing and has a great temperament and attitude pretty much all the time. The only time she can be bossy is when it comes to feeding time. She keeps her paddock pretty clean for a mare. I can lead her around just by grabbing her fly mask. Have videos of her being hopped on bareback with just a halter after not being ridden in almost 2 years. Pics are recent. Finish her out and have an awesome riding partner. Breed her and get some beautiful babies. No matter what you do with her, she’s going to look gorgeous out in your field. $5000 puts her in your barn. Located in Pleasant Grove, CA.
