This collection of 11 miniature English Cottages from David Winter and Lilliput Lane include many of the features found in most English villages: a church, church school, vicarage, the local pub, a market street and a variety of houses with different architectural styles. We’ve priced this SPECIAL COLLECTION to encourage you to set up your own typical English Village on a bookshelf or table at your home. In the 1980s and 1990s, two British artists – David Winter and David Tate (Lilliput Lane) created a collectible market of historic and fictional houses of the British Isles. These miniature cottages were handmade from gypsum plaster / compounds that permitted the artists to add significant architectural details to their models. Each piece was hand-painted in the UK.
