Haflinger Stallion

The listing

Meet Frodo… He is a grade purebred Haflinger stallion. He has a to die for double mane and forelock. He has spent his entire life as a pasture ornament. Was pastured next to mares with no issues. But has never bred any. He is respectful of fencing. He is as wide as he is tall. We will need to tape him for an accurate height. But thinking he’s around 14.1 hands. Pics cannot truly express the beefcake this guy is. He is THICK. He was literally a pasture puff before coming here. He is gentle and likes attention. With that being said… He was never halter broke. (He now leads and ties.) Has never had his feet trimmed. (Will be getting his feet done soon.) And has never been trained to do anything. (He is now in training.) We are now in the process of remedying these issues. We will be taking it slow, but he is very willing to please, and eager to learn. He is a very healthy and happy horse. Sound in every way. He has a great mind on him and learns easily. This guy is definitely a “project”. But he’s one that is going to be pretty easy. With his looks and mind, he can be anything you want him to be, in time. You’re welcome to come out and meet him and play with him in the round pen. The longer he stays, the more time we will be putting in him. Can be gelded before leaving. Only asking $5000 at this time, due to him being considered a project. Price will increase the longer he stays. Located in Pleasant Grove, CA. Can possibly deliver.
