MCP Custom Strat

The listing

I built this one about a year and a half ago. The body if made of ash, double bound w a Nitro finish. 21 Fret neck, jumbo frets, 9.5 deg profile, large headstock. Both body and neck were built in Canada. I used Nickel Hipshot tuners w open gear and locking tuners....really smooth and accurate. The pickups are Gibson 59 PAF @ 8.11 and 8.31 ohms. CTS 500k brass shaft and housing pots w a Mallory cap. I also installed a vol bleed circuit keeping the vol pot tone constant at any volume. Switchcraft 3 way switch and jack. The tremolo it a Gyker with a tremolo stabilizer. It stays in tune even with excessive trem use. The new TKL case w padded handleand a coded lock. The sound reminds me of a cross between a SG and a strat with plenty of gain without being obnoxious...cleans up nicely by using the volume. Action is set to what I like.....fast without buzzing.
