Extra depth is what sets this one apart. The IDEAL 36-520 is a 1-1/8 inch (29mm) bi-metal hole saw with a 1-7/8" (48mm) depth of cut, so it gets through thicker stock in a single pass. M42 high-speed steel teeth, made in the USA, and new. That size is the pipe entrance for 3/4" conduit and the pipe tap for 1", which covers a lot of electrical work: knockouts in steel boxes and panels, plus clean holes through 2x framing, plywood and plastic for wire, conduit or PEX runs. It fits IDEAL arbors 36-570, 36-571 and 36-572. Haus of Tools sells it for $17.53. If you normally buy Milwaukee, Lenox or Diablo deep-cut hole saws, this IDEAL matches them tooth for tooth.
