SCHAGERL GANSCH HORN Bb TRUMPET—VINTAGE SATIN+24K GOLD—AMAZING! MINT!
The listing
This rare Austrian Schagerl Gansch Horn Bb Trumpet features a stunning vintage distressed finish with clear satin lacquer and 24K Gold sections and accents. This is the HEAVY version of the Gansch and the seller says it feels and plays like a Monette P3. Cleaning and maintenance just performed—all springs, bumpers, washers and other parts subject to wear have all been replaced. In FLAWLESS condition—just immaculate. Amazing tone and feels wonderful to play. It comes with a gorgeous rare set of custom striped-opal finger button inlays. This comes from the stunning collection of a recording artist and this horn is one of the best we've seen and heard. Comes with a Schagerl case, anti-tarnish bag and strap. This beauty is in mint condition and all the valves and pipes are pristine and the action is smooth and lightning fast. The seller had the valves adjusted so that they are whisper quiet with amazing compression. The colors of this horn are unbelievable, especially with the blue-green of the opal buttons throwing off of the glossy green/gold/gray/blue metallic highlights in the vintage finish—maybe the most exquisite that we've ever seen in these Gansch vintage finishes. If you've never played a Schagerl Gansch Horn before, then you're in for a real treat. Don't let the rotary valve orientation scare you—they're faster, smoother and help you slot much more easily than any other trumpet once you get accustomed to the slightly different and faster feel. The handmade valve block is precision at its finest. The direct response of the pistons and the smooth sound and feel of the rotary valves complement the widest, darkest and most complex tones all the way to the brightest and most compact tones—the sky is the limit with this horn. It will become your favorite horn in no time, especially with the totally free upper register. Blazing fast passages are a breeze and the horn is designed to be played one-handed (unlike traditional rotary trumpets) so that you can play plunger mute solos, turn pages or perform quick mute changes with ease. And the Gansch Horn's eye-catching swooped bell pipe design makes it a natural with a lowered jazz or blues placement, directing the tone exactly where you want it. Comes with a brand new original ultra-light Schagerl Hard-Soft Case that includes padded spacers and a double-mouthpiece case. Also comes with a Schagerl anti-tarnish velvet bag for the horn. Serial is obscured for fraud mitigation purposes. No mouthpiece is included (depicted with mouthpiece for demonstration purposes only). But we're confident that any mouthpiece you decide to use will complement this incredible instrument. We also have some fine and rare Bb recommended mouthpieces available for this horn available for separate purchase. This is listed in other places so it could sell at any moment. We don't anticipate it'll last long. Zelle or Cash preferred. We have a credit card server that we can make available if you cover the processing fees. Definitely no trades and we will only respond to serious inquiries. A portion of the proceeds from this sale will go to arts education charities. We're willing to ship as long as the buyer covers for shipping and insurance. We use FedEx and ship instruments all over the world.
