Hardbound vintage/antique books, published by Charles Scribner's Sons (Schribners) in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and written by the French historian Imbert de Saint-Amand 1894-1901. This is a set of nine (9) books with distinctinve olive/sage green cloth with gilded lettering on the spines. All are in excellent condtion considering their age. This series explores the lives of notable historical figures, queens and empresses during major eras of French history, including the Bourbon Dynasty, the French Revolution and the Napoleonic eras.
