1954 Gibson Les Paul Jr. GA-5 — $850 A very nice example of a 1954 Gibson Les Paul Jr. GA-5 vintage tube amplifier, in very good condition for a 72-year-old amp. This amp is tube amp tech owned and fully serviced. It has been thoroughly checked and is ready to play. These amps are excellent for recording, home playing, and anyone looking for authentic vintage Gibson tone. 5Y3 modern JJ rectifier, RCA 6V6 power tube and RCA 6SL7 octal preamp tube. 1954 is the first year of production for this amp. The amp is not being represented as 100% original. The original power transformer remains, while the output transformer has been replaced with a properly fitting Hammond drop-in replacement. The speaker is a desirable 1958 Jensen, which adds to the vintage appeal of the amp. Considering its age, the amp presents very well and is in very good condition.
