Healthy live Daphnia available from an established outdoor culture maintained for aquarium use. These are wild-type Daphnia (pulex complex) and are continuously reproducing in a dedicated outdoor tub. A portion includes a mix of adults, juveniles, and egg-carrying females, making it suitable for either feeding fish right away or starting your own culture. Excellent live food for: Fry and juvenile fish Celestial Pearl Danios (CPDs) Corydoras Bettas Pea puffers Scarlet badis Other small freshwater species You'll get a generous scoop with >200 adults, juveniles, and egg-bearing females - enough to seed a new culture or start feeding immediately. Daphnia are an excellent conditioning food for breeding fish and are easy to maintain with gentle aeration and an appropriate food source such as green water or yeast.
