40' sailboat PROJECT

The listing

Im about half way through a major refit/rebuild. health problems are really slowing me down and its not likely Ill take it cruising at this point. most of the big projects are done but theres still a lot of work to do. all work has been performed by a 40yr MIP/ boatwright in mdf/epoxy/biax. Its still at the stage where you can make it your own inside. Some material and hardware available. Steel cradle, mast/boom, lots of photos. Its also sitting on private property in a pretty nice covered boatyard that Id be willing to rent for a bit if you wanted a place to work on it. Im pretty flexible... Sell outright and move it or work on it here for a year or two. Im available to consult or stay out of your hair. Please only contact me if you are serious about building your own cruising boat, I dont have time for looky-loos. Price depends on the situation. If youre serious about building a cruising boat and heading out in the next 2-4 years then contact me with a short background and plan for completion. Too many people just want to come out and have a look and dream, which ends up wasting a lot of my time ( I can talk about boats and boat building all day ). This is a PROJECT for someone with experience building and fitting-out an ocean going boat.
