The price is $60. This price is firm and non-negotiable. Please don't ask for a discount or make an offer. For sale is a fabric steamer. This is also called a garment steamer or clothing steamer. This is a household appliance that uses hot, pressurized steam to remove wrinkles and creases from clothing, curtains, and fabrics without directly contacting or touching the fabric surface. It acts as a faster, gentler alternative to ironing, relaxing the fibers in fabrics to smooth garments while they hang. This particular fabric steamer is a Conair brand, model number GS11SB. It's a large, upright unit with a 1-liter water tank and heating element at the bottom and a 5.5-feet long, rubber tube that extends out at the top. The unit includes a 4.5-feet tall support pole on which you can hang individual clothes, making it easy to steam the fabric on these clothes. The pole also holds and secures the rubber hose when not in use. Because it has four small caster wheels on the bottom, it's relatively easy to move around. Two of the wheels can lock in place to prevent unwanted movement. In order to use this steamer, you must plug it into a standard electrical wall outlet for power using the 6-feet long cord. This is not a battery power unit. When not in use, the electrical cord can retract so it's nearly completely hidden within the bottom of the device. There is a push button to enable the cord retraction process. The electricity outlet powers the heating elements inside which convert the liquid water in the removable tank to steam. The 5.5-feet long tube delivers the steam to the fabric surface without directly touching your garments. The unit has a standard on / off button and an indicator light letting you know that the water in the tank is empty and needs to be refilled. The water tank is large enough to provide steam for about 90 minutes of continuous use. When in use, the device measures about 1-feet wide, 1.5-feet deep, and 6-feet tall. It weighs about 12 pounds. It's also possible to remove the rubber hose and support pole to minimize its footprint for storage and transport. Without the hose and pole, the bottom unit measures about 1-feet wide, 1.5-feet deep, and 1.5-feet tall. The support pole can be further collapsed to about 2.5-feet long to minimize the space needed for storage or transportation. And the hose can be partially dis-assembled and curled around itself to minimize spaced for storage and transportation. The fabric steamer was purchased for my elderly mother a few years ago so that she can remove wrinkles from her clothes. She used it a few times. Given it's limited usage, it's in excellent structural and functional condition. It works perfectly. There is nothing wrong with it. You can feel free to test it before purchase to confirm that it works. Please note that I no longer have the original cardboard box or product manual. The fabric steamer is also in excellent cosmetic condition. There are some tiny scratches and dust built-up on some surfaces from normal wear. But these cosmetic issues don't harm the functional integrity of the steamer. You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport.
