What's included are: Inspur 5212m4 12-Bay Hard Disk Expansion Enclosure Inspur SAS3 Backplane 3D-Printed Cooling System w/ 4 speed-adjustable fans a SFF-8643 and a power cable 12x HDD candy trays w/ mounting screws Rubber Support Legs Server rack mounting adapter Basically this is the much smaller and portable version of Supermicro CSE-826 JBOD (or similar NAS system). You can carry it around and attach it to any PC or servers. Or you can mount it to standard server rack with the mounting adapter. The Inspur SAS3 Backplane is powered by 2~4 Molex connectors, data speed is full SAS3 12Gbs, and it can be daisy-chained with other units (3x SFF-8643 connectors available on the backplane). In order to connect to a PC, you need a SAS card. I use LSI 3008 w/ PCIE 3.0 x 4 which is very cheap and provides more than enough speed for 12 drives together. The cooling system is 3D printed and attached to the back. It has 4 fans which is speed adjustable. The whole unit can be fully tested upon meetup, I can walk you through how to configure and use.
