The listing

Beautiful antique Sears, Roebuck & Co. cast-iron parlor stove, marked No. 220, with the original Sears identification plate still attached. This stove was fully restored by my father approximately 40 years ago and has not been fired since the restoration. Since then, it has been kept as a decorative piece in our home and screened porch. The stove has wonderful period details, including ornate cast-iron legs, decorative vented top, metal finial and trim, front mica viewing panels, adjustable draft controls, rear doors and stovepipe. The removable internal metal box/component is also present, as shown in the photos. The original Sears, Roebuck & Co. identification plate is still attached and bears the number 143.110. The decorative upper casting is marked No. 220. One section of the mica viewing material in the front door is damaged, as shown in the photos. Mica stove-window material can be replaced. There is also some surface patina and oxidation consistent with the stove's age. Approximate dimensions: 48" high to top of stovepipe 23–24" at widest point 21" across outside of front legs This is a substantial and beautiful antique that would make a wonderful statement piece in a historic home, cabin, lodge, restaurant, or antique stove collection. Please note: Although the stove was restored approximately 40 years ago, it has not been fired since and has not been inspected for current operation. It is being sold as an antique/decorative stove. Anyone wishing to use it for heat should have it professionally inspected before use. Very heavy. Buyer will need to bring appropriate help and equipment for moving.
