1966 Fith Annual Portland Oregon Rose Cup Races Event Poster. The Rose Cup is the second-oldest amateur road race in the United States. This is currently the only known example of this event poster to survive. This was purchased new at the 1966 event and hung up for 3 years before Original owner moved to a new home. It was then put in a poster storage tube & has been inside since 1968. This was found and saved through and estate liquidation after original owner passed away. Historical Society & Raceway & Portland History Groups have no documentation of another example. “If you have one or know of one send information with pictures for Oregon history documentation.” Size is: 26” x 19.1/2” Some wear on edging, Chrome tool sockets on each corner moved with extra photo to show condition under each location. This should be secured under a poster display sleeve and kept out of the sunlight.
