True Black APHA Colt

The listing

Meet ParTay… True black APHA registered colt. D.O.B. 4-23-19 Stands around 14.2 hands. This gorgeous guy has no white on him at all. He is a true black. His color doesn’t fade. He has a beautiful striking blue eye on his right side. He was started late, so is just green broke at this time. He has never bucked or reared. Doesn’t know much, but has been out on the trails a couple of times and did great. We have even overnight camped with him. Very easy to work with. Wants to please. He does all the normal stuff. Leads. Ties all day long. Loads and hauls with ease. Bathes. Tacks up. Excellent hard black feet. No shoes needed. Nice straight legs. Gorgeous forelock, mane, and tail. (Although he rubbed off a section of mane recently.) Very friendly and loves attention. He’s one you don’t have to catch. Loves water. Keeps his pen clean. Takes after his dad and poops in one area. This is just an all around good boy. He’s still intact. Both testicles are dropped. Has never bred. He has great manners and is very easy to handle around other horses, including mares. Not studdy or crazy at all. Has never been aggressive in any way. Will stay in pretty much any type of fencing. Can lead him around with just your arm around his neck holding onto his mane. Does great in pasture with other stallions and geldings. He tends to be lower in the pecking order. He would be great for a first time stallion owner. He would also make an excellent gelding. Can be gelded upon request, before taking him home. He has a scar from previous injury where his left front leg was cut on both sides. He has made an amazing recovery and it doesn’t affect him in any way. It’s merely a cosmetic flaw now. If you use boots, no one would even notice it. Come meet him and see if you’d like this beautiful black stallion in your barn. Owner is lowering her numbers due to her husband having serious health issues. Bring your spouse. Bring your friend. Bring your trainer. Bring your vet. Bring your farrier. Bring $6000 and load him up. Located in Pleasant Grove, CA. Can possibly deliver.
