The Boss GT-6B is a professional multi-effects processor specifically designed for bassists. It incorporates advanced COSM technology, which allows for realistic amp modeling and an endless variety of effects tailored for bass guitars whether they are hollow or solid body guitars. Key Features This GT-6B models the sound of classic bass amps and speaker cabinets. Sounds reproduced are the Bassman, Trace Elliot, concert 8x10, Bass 360, and has the sound of various sized bass cabinets; 8x10, 4x10, 1x15, 2x15, and 1x18 (see images). The mixing possibilities of these settings are endless. The GT-6B has 35 different effects to include overdrive, synth, distortion, reverb, delay, chorus, tremolo, phase shifting, echo, looping and much more. The unit also has a ‘True Analog Bypass’ that ensures high sound quality by allowing players to switch to the pure tone of their bass if desired. Comes with an onboard expression pedal that allows for real-time control of certain effects like the wah pedal. Features an Auto Slap which creates automatic slap patterns, Sound-on-Sound Looping that allows for live looping of sounds created, Synth Bass Sounds which has high-quality synth bass tones. The Boss has 40 preset (unchanged) and 80 user-controlled programs (programmable) so you can create your personal style bass sounds. Device has a 15-character LCD display that is also backlit.
