Spring Pullets (young female chickens)

The listing

We have a selection of farmyard mix ($20 each) and farm store hatchery ($25 each) pullets available. These young hens are four to five months old and a few have just started laying. The farmyard mix are beautiful, energetic birds. There are four available, primarily black with a teal sheen and white chest/head accents. Some of the moms were blue egg layers, however I expect most eggs will lay brown eggs, none will be white. We also have some hatchery pullets ($25 each). Varieties include one Buff Minorca (light gold feathers, upright carriage, white eggs), two Dominique (mottled black & white feathers, brown eggs) and six Lavender Orpington (light grey "lavender" feathers, upright carriage, brown eggs). Text or Voice mail is preferred for contact, not email. Please text or call show contact info and leave a message. Visits to the farm are by appointment only. We are located about 6 mi west of highway 99 in McMinnville. Please note: Due to the nature of chickens, pick-ups are scheduled either in the morning or around dusk, when they are naturally on the roost or can be contained in the hen house.
