Model 444A, Serial number 153518. Nine inch by four foot precision 6 speed bench lathe sitting on a rugged welded steel workbench. With a large quantity of drills, taps, reamers. chucks. Tool bits, Dial Indicator, Micrometer. The serial number (correlated with records at Vintage Machinery. org) suggests it was produced in 1943. It's a version of the lathes used in the field in WW II by the US Army Air Corps.
