Vintage French 24% lead crystal ice bucket manufactured by J.G. Durand (a division of Arc International) in the "Villlemont" pattern. This elegant piece showcases the Villemont style, combining sharp crisscross geometric cuts with tall vertical panels. This specialized cut creates a multi-faceted design that dynamically catches and refracts light. It features a classic flared shape flanket by two solid, integrated rectangular handles, extending from the rim for a secure grip. This versatile barware piece doubles perfectly as a tabletop wine or champagne chiller. It's just simply beautiful and very useful too! It is in excellent condition.
