A rare First edition, this was written by Arthur Lamb who was known as "The Sage of the Osage". It is in good condition for its age and has numerous illustrations throughout its 203 pages. The binding has been taped. It was published by the Osage Printery in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. This particular book is signed by the last owner in several places and he also made several personal footnotes in the book. One tells that he bought this book from. Mr. Lamb's widow in Pawhuska around 1945. This book is a history of incidents that occurred in the Osage Hills and speaks of the Osage tribe, buffalo, battles, outlaws and tragedies. $30 show contact info
