1965 Gibson LG-1 Vintage Acoustic Guitar — Great Sounding Player Grade — Original Case For sale is a 1965 Gibson LG-1 acoustic guitar in fair/good overall condition. This is a great-sounding vintage Gibson with plenty of character and the warm, woody tone these LG-series guitars are known for. The guitar has extensive vintage finish checking, along with some finish chips and clear-coat blemishes on the headstock and back of the neck. It is definitely a vintage guitar that shows its age cosmetically, so please look closely at the photos. On the positive side, the guitar has had some important professional work performed: * Professionally crafted solid wood bridge replacing the original plastic bridge * Bone nut, professionally fitted * Internal bracing professionally re-glued * Guitar is structurally sound and sounds excellent * Original vintage components otherwise retained where applicable * Includes the original Gibson case, which is also in fair vintage condition The wood bridge and bone nut are significant upgrades from the original plastic parts and, along with the properly re-glued bracing, make this a very enjoyable guitar to actually play rather than simply a collector piece.
