Old Copper Candy Making Kettle/ Pot 21.5”edge/edge, 26.5"handle/handle

The listing

This is a large antique solid copper cauldron / or candy making kettle with original iron side handles. It measures about 10-3/4"high and 21.5" across from edge to edge and 26.5" across from handle to handle and it weighs approx 25 pounds. It has the most beautiful naturally aged patina as pictures show. It has surface scratches, oxidation, staining and verdigris. The rim is heavy rolled copper with riveted iron handles that show rust. It has dovetailed construction as can be seen in the 13th-16th pictures. The last 2 pictures show an old edge crack that seems pretty stable. I dont find a manufacturer’s stamp but the construction style looks very much like Savage Brothers Co.
