For sale is a set of equipment for outdoor camp use. This gear is intended for backyard camping or car camping. It's probably too heavy for backpack camping. Thanks. ########################## Details About the REI Brand Camping Tent: Included in the purchase is an REI brand tent, model number Hobitat 6. It's a three-season tent. This is NOT a four-season tent. It's not intended for extreme snow or wind. The tent has a slightly rectangular footprint that measures about 10 feet wide and 8 feet deep. This is about 80 square feet of total floor space. This is enough space to allow for 4-people to comfortable sleep inside with all of their camping gear. But REI markets this as being a 6-person tent, with 5 people sleeping next to one another and one person sleeping perpendicularly to everyone else. The tent has four (4) main support poles to give it this slightly rectangular shape. Two poles start at one corner and cross-over to the opposite corner. And the other two poles do the same, but from other corners. All four poles cross over at the very top of the tent. These poles also make for a free-standing, elongated dome-type structure that measures about 6.5 feet tall, at the center point. This 6.5 feet height is enough for most people to stand up in the tent. The tent has two (2) sets of entry doors, one on the front side and one on the back side. Each door measures about 4.5 feet wide and 5 feet tall. There are two (2) side windows, one on the left side and one on the right side. Each side window measures about 3 feet wide and 10 inches tall. The doors and windows all have zippered covers over mesh fabric. The entire top of the tent is composed of mesh fabric to allow for proper air ventilation. Included in the purchase is the original rainfly, which partially covers the top of the tent. The rainfly has two (2) smaller support poles, one over each of the left and right side windows. The main tent is constructed of coated nylon taffeta for the floor and uncoated nylon taffeta for the canopy. The rainfly is constructed of coated polyester taffeta. The four main tent poles are constructed of 8mm diameter aluminum alloy. Included are several metal spike stakes, a small amount of nylon grounding guy-line, and the original storage bag that measures about 30" long and 14" in diameter. The weight of everything, including the bag, is about 18 pounds. The tent was used just a few times for some car camping. Given its limited use, it's in excellent structural, functional, and cosmetic condition. With one exception, nothing is broken, damaged, or misaligned. The zippers all open and close with ease. The fabric surfaces are intact with no tears or rips and there is no damage to any of the seams. As mentioned above, there is one exception to everything being in excellent condition.
