Restored Reynolds Bianchi Eros with Shimano 105 R7000 group

For Sale: A one-of-its-kind classic Bianchi Eros Reynolds 631 steel road bike, that has been freshly painted in Ferrari's Azzurro California, with all-new Shimano 105 R7000 2x11-speed components and Hunt Four Season Aero wheels. As shown, and ready-to-ride, she weighs 8.5 kg, or just about 18.7 pounds. Has been ridden only a handful of miles since built, just to ensure that everything is perfect. Details follow. The frame is Reynolds 631 steel, and nominally 58cm, so it is for tall-ish folks. I sandblasted off the dirt and old paint to bare steel, primed it with Summit 2-part epoxy, sprayed four coats of Roberlo Dichrom in Ferrari's Azzurro California, and cleared it with 2 coats of KBS Diamond Clear last month. The frame and fork will clear actual 28mm tires, although it is currently wearing tubeless 25mm Continental GP5000s. The fork steerer is 300mm and uncut, as you can see, leaving plenty of adjustment in both directions for the new rider. The seat post is 350mm long, and also has plenty of range up and down. The configuration shown in the pictures suits an approximately 6 foot tall rider. Right now, this bike is setup like an endurance cycling machine, with a relatively high cockpit, but it could be lowered into a more sporting posture with removal of the spacers, and subsequent trimming of the fork steerer. Such will be left to the new owner's discretion. If the new owner wishes, I can trim the fork steerer for them to their preferred length -- but will do so obviously only after they have paid for their beautiful new bike. If the bike's new owner prefers, I can remove and keep the wheels, or the pedals, or the saddle, for a commensurate reduction in price. The wheelset is worth about $400 to me. The saddle and pedals are $30 each. I left the frame free of decals and other adornment, since everyone's tastes differ. I prefer this clean look, but the new owner can apply whatever decoration they prefer. It's a lovely bike, that has been only test-ridden for a couple miles since completion, and it rides beautifully, but it's going to need a rider, soon.
