Set of Antique Dining Chairs

The listing

Set of 6, Leather antique, very old, dining chairs remain among the most sought-after pieces on the market today. Complete sets of six or more are especially difficult to find, particularly those that include two armchairs for the ends of the table. In overall design, these chairs exhibit classic antique elements, including the rectangular block detail at the junction of the front legs. The structure is predominantly rectilinear, with subtle curves appearing only in the crown of the backrest and in the gracefully curved components of the H-shaped stretcher that forms the base. Slightly wider than the typical dining chair of the period, the seats, legs, and backs are solidly constructed, conveying a sense of durability, stability, and timeless craftsmanship. The richly colored brown leather upholstery adds warmth and character, blending beautifully with the antique wood frames and complementing their natural tone. The seating surfaces show expected wear from many years of use, reflecting their continued role as family dining chairs and contributing to their authentic antique appeal.
