Slingerland Buddy Rich/TDR brass snare drum

The listing

For Sale--Slingerland Buddy Rich/TDR chrome plated brass snare drum. Serial #455416(late 70's), 5x14 10 lugs. This drum was first advertised in the early seventies as the Buddy Rich model--both wood and brass shells were available. After Buddy left Slingerland in the late 70's it simply became the TDR model. TDR stands for "total dynamic response", which was their extended snare wire system. Also unique to this model are 3 vent holes instead of the normal one. New Remo heads and Puresound extended wires, everything else original. Shell has some minor dings and scratches but is in perfect round and tunes up great, very articulate drum. $400 or best offer, cash and local pickup only. Thanks for looking.
