Aluminum s the best material for a canoe because it is not affected by the Sun's UV rays ( so you can store it outside), it can last over 100 years, it's very durable ( hit a pointed rock and it doesn't get a hole in it as easily as plastic, fiberglass, kevlar carbon fiber) , it is lightweight, and affordable, plus it's easy to repair. It comes with two padded seats, two oar locks, two life preservers, and the DMV pink slip, which is important if you want to use a motor. It's $475.00, compared to a new one, save $3274.00. I was just quoted a price of $2249.00 for a new fifteen footer, and delivered to Sacramento ( Marathon Boat Group the manufacturer of Grumman canoes does not have a west coast distributor, so they have to ship them with a semi truck ) it costs $3749.00. The 16’ green color Coleman Scanoe canoe is in very good condition. It has a flat bottom so you can stand up and fish, and a flat back/transom so you can use a motor up to five horse power.
