SAGINAW 4 SPEED W/IRON BELL HOUSING AND STARTER

The listing

FOR SALE; IRON CASE GM 4 SPD TRANS. (SAGINAW). Internally looks to be in great condition with no damage or excessive wear. Gear ratios and origin unknown. Also including a complete "soft parts" kit.(bushings, gaskets, bearings, synchro rings, etc.) One negative is that 1-2 and 3-4 shift forks have gone missing. They're available online...I have info. Also included is a Chevy iron bell housing with the required starter.I'm pretty sure it's for an 11" clutch. I think I have a Hurst shifter too,I'll have to find it. There's alot here for the money...The overhaul kit alone was $100.00 years ago. Bell housing and shifter are bonuses for sure. Forks were stolen years ago by a "friend". This model gear box was used widely by GM in lower power applications from the mid 60's till the mid 70's I would call this a very good deal for what your money is getting...See my other ads for other GM parts. Thanks for looking! I'll post photos in a couple days after I take them...
