VINTAGE George A Starbird Model 180 Studio Mic Boom Stand It's in very nice shape considering its age with normal scratching and scuffing. All booms, extensions, tightening mechanisms move freely and function properly. The pneumatic air system in this stand actually works (which is rare). This ensures that if for some reason vertical boom on the stand wasn't fully tightened, the boom won't just slam downward. Instead it very slowly lowers until at rest. A very nice feature, well ahead of its time and something modern mic stand manufacturers don't incorporate. The stand breaks down very easily. The top half is removed from the base by 1 small set screw. It'll easily fit in any truck/van/hatchback. ***Only the Starbird Model 180 microphone stand is being offered for sale in this listing, the Neumann M49b is not included *** Please message with any questions.
