20” Bosphorus Stanton Moore Signature Pang Thang cymbal, 1756 grams

The listing

For sale is a Bosphorus 20” Pang Thang cymbal, from the Stanton Moore signature series (later called the “Groove Series” after he switched to endorsing Sabian / Crescent cymbals, which also made a Pang Thang). These are based on the design of an old Zildjian Pang cymbal with a small, flat flange at the edge, except the Bosphorus Pang Thang features a fully-lathed top and a partially-lathed “New Orleans”-style bottom, which mellows the tone. Good condition with no cracks, keyhole, etc. The only issue is that the edge is a little wavy. This is a common issue with all used cymbals that have a flat flange at the edge, including the original Zildjian Pang and the Paiste Masters Swish: after years of crashes, part of the flange bends down a little. I am willing to ship if the buyer covers all shipping costs. I live in an apartment, so you couldn’t play it at my place. I’m happy to bring it to your practice space so you can find out how it sounds with your set-up, or I can meet you in a public parking lot, as long as it isn’t too far away from Sellwood.
