A bigger dish of tough plastic with a locking mechanism to prevent spills and messes (the A&E Cage Company Plastic Quick Locking Crock Bird Bowl). The dish easily attaches to and detaches from the base for easy cleaning. And the base itself can be locked into the bars of a cage with a press ($4, worth as much as $10-15). Or $3 for everything.
