Vintage Lionel Train 8569 SOO LINE NW2 Switcher Modified, Runs

Offering this Lionel 8569 SOO LINE NW2 Switcher from 1975-1977. No box or literature. The unit appears to have been modified with a different drive truck gear wheel assembly on the front made of die-cast metal. The original was plastic. The rear plastic assembly has been modified with a wood spacer, probably to accommodate the front assembly (see PICs). There, also, appears to be a weld joint approximately in the middle of the metal chassis. There are fixed couplers on both ends. The unit supposedly has not been run for quite some time. It is dusty/dirty with some surface rust in places. It runs F&R, with some hesitancy< by moving a switch lever on top. Asking $25, cash only, $20 bills or smaller.
