1974 Evinrude 15 Horse, Short Shaft Outboard Boat Motor

Have a good running 74 Evinrude 15 horse short shaft for sale. Motor is in very good condition for its age and is a fresh water only motor. Motor shows zero signs of corrosion caused by salt water use and is all original paint. Motor fires right up after 3 pulls on the starter cord, Threw in an extra one there Ted, just in case. motor has 129 PSI on the upper and lower cylinders, those are excellent numbers for a motor this old and the numbers are the same on both cylinders which is another good sign. Service work I did on it are pulled the carburetor and gave it a clean and inspection. New set of plugs, new impeller, new lower unit oil. The throttle gear in the tiller handle was missing the roll pin. I was able to remove the tiller handle, remove the cotter pin that someone had put in there and replaced it with a new roll pin. Greased everything up and the throttle works nice and smooth. I also replaced the tilt knob and the idle adjustment knob. Kill switch was toast so I replaced it with a newer style lanyard kill switch. All electrical splices to wires were soldered and shrink tubed. I also put electrical tape over the connectors to keep water of of there. Comes with a nice clean 6 gallon heavy duty plastic fuel tank by Scepter. Fuel line, fittings, primer bulb and hose clamps are a couple of years old and in excellent condition. I could tell you were just eye balling my motor stand in the pictures, Not For Sale!
