Ibanez RG7421 MIJ 7-string Cherry Fudge

Classic nu-metal-era 7 in what I believe was a GC exclusive color. The *vast* majority of these are black. Unusually, this finish wasn't technically available until '00, but it has a '99 serial, while the 1-piece maple neck as seen on the pre '00 has the '00 Wizard 7 profile rather than the slightly thicker RG7 profile. It's not unusual to see runs with mixed features as they changed over from one year to the next. This has the '99 bridge as well. This one plays great. Truss rod works 100%, neck is straight, action is already low and could probably come down a touch more if desired. Minimal fret wear. Weight is 7 lb, 5 oz. Body has some wear. A number of small chips around the edges as happens on Ibanez guitars. Primary issues are an extra hole on the bottom for different strap button position added by a previous owner and minor fret sprout up high. It has been improving since I received it a while back and began rehydrating the board, so that may well resolve itself with further humidification. Price is firm. Might consider trades for other MIJ Ibbys, especially non-RGs. Otherwise, cash only. Thanks for looking, and check out my other listings!
