Nova Brand 25.5" Wide Aluminum Two-Wheeled Foldable Walker

For sale is a mobility aid walker that assists people when they have balance problems, leg weakness, and other conditions that makes it challenging for them to walk with ease. This is a Nova brand, model number 4080BW5. This is the blue color version with UPC code of 652308408257. This is a standard two-wheeled walker, with two (2) 5" diameter wheels in the front and two pole legs terminated with rubber feet in the back. See Pictures 13 and 14 for closeups of a wheel and a foot. The walker frame is constructed of 1"-thick aluminum alloy beams. It also has some steel, plastic, and rubber. Due the robust construction, the maximum load weight is 300 pounds. But it's relatively lightweight, weighing about 6.5 pounds. When in use, the walker measures 25.5" wide and 19.75" deep. The width space between the two opposite support arms is 18". The height of the walker can expand from a minimum of 33.5" to a maximum of 39.5". The walker is intended to accommodate adults between 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 6 feet, 2 inches tall. If you are shorter or taller than this, you should probably look elsewhere. To increase or decrease the walker height, you simply push down on locks on each leg and then pull up or down on the upper portion of each leg. Pictures 17 to 19 show the walker increasing height from 33.5" to 36.5" to 39.5". This walker can fold in half to conserve space during transport and storage. To fold the walker, you simply push on the lock lever on each handle and pivot each side of the walker towards the middle. Pictures 11 and 12 show the lock levers on each handle. To expand, you reverse this process by extending outward each section away from the middle until each side locks into place. Pictures 20 to 23 show this folding process in action. In the collapsed form for transport and storage, the walker measures 25.5" wide and 4" deep. The minimum height in the collapsed form is 33.5". The maximum height in the collapsed form is 39.5". Pictures 23 and 24 show the walker in the completely collapses form. The walker was purchased new and then used by my elderly mother for about a 2 month period. But it's too wide for her and she purchased another less wide walker. Given it's extremely limited use, it's in excellent structural and functional condition. There is nothing wrong with it. The lock levers both operate without problems. The folding process is smooth. The two wheels work perfectly. The height adjustment mechanism on each of the four legs operates locks into place robustly. The walker is also in excellent cosmetic condition. There are a few tiny scratches on some surfaces due to normal wear. But these cosmetic issue don't harm the structural integrity of the walker.
