Vintage Thai Temple Rubbing Hanuman & Sida (Ramakien) Large 19" Hand-Pulled Art ✨ Own a piece of Thai temple history. ✨ This is a stunning vintage Thai temple rubbing of Hanuman, the mighty white monkey general, embracing Sida (Sita) from the Ramakien, Thailand's national epic. These rubbings are made by hand. Thin mulberry-style paper is pressed onto carved stone or wood relief and rubbed with ink, so every swirl, scale, and flower on this piece was lifted from the original carving. 🎨 What you're getting: • Hand-pulled rubbing on handmade fibrous rice/mulberry paper • Sheet size about 19" x 19", with the image roughly 15" x 15" • Incredibly detailed: ornate crowns and jewelry, flame motifs, blossoms and foliage, and rolling waves along the bottom • Rich charcoal-black ink against the natural cream paper • Unframed, so you can choose a frame that fits your space • Light paper tape at the top edge from storage, and a faint ghost image on the back (a natural part of the process) • 15 photos so you can see every detail 🖼️ Perfect for: a gallery wall, an office or meditation room, a Thai restaurant or spa, a collector of Asian art, or a one-of-a-kind gift. It looks stunning in a simple black or gold frame with a white mat. 💛 One-of-a-kind and not a mass-produced print. Pieces like this don't come around often, and this is a great chance to get an authentic temple rubbing at a fraction of the price of a framed one. 📍 Pickup in the Sacramento area.
