1993 Yamaha, Long Shaft, 4 stroke Trolling Outboard Boat Motor & Cont

Here is a low hours Yamaha 4 stroke trolling motor and or sail boat motor with forward control box and battery. Picked this one up last summer for a project. Service work that I did on this motor are, Fresh impeller, vacuum checked the lower unit and cleaned the carburetor. Replaced the CDI box because the motor had lost spark. Changed the crank case oil and the lower unit oil. Replaced the diaphragm on the fuel pump. Control box has a key and everything in the box works as it should and operates smoothly. It is a starboard side control. This motor does show some signs of salt use but the signs are very minimal. This is an electric start motor, the motor fires up easily and runs very smooth at power and low idle. Motor has a large blade torque prop made specifically for trolling and or pushing a sail boat around. Owner said it was in the back of his boat for years but just scarcely got used. Then the boat got sold and he got tired of looking at this in his garage for the last 6 years. One of the control cables is very stiff and will likely need to be replaced. I have been soaking it in cider in hopes that will help. Motor comes with an AC Delco 24 amp 12 volt battery that is in newish condition. I am unable to find a date on it. There is a box of spares with clips for the cables. There is also a bracket for an Easy Steer, steering control rod. The electrical control snake from the control box is 15 feet long and there are two extra 6 foot cables if needed. the control cables are 20 feet long. Comes with a freshly flushed and in excellent condition 3 gallon metal tank and a brand new Moeller fuel line and primer bulb. This motor has been sorted and is ready to fish today.
