Carrier Weathermaker 8000, Upflow Gas Furnace w/ Air Handler (blower). Series 140, SN 5099A09418, manufactured Dec 1999. $50. Perhaps model 58UXT or 58WAV, 80% efficient. Possible to convert to Propane with factory kit KGANP2001ALL Connected to gas outside to demonstrate (former pool heater). When installed, I used an endoscope to search for cracks in the heat exchanger (saw none). Was working fine when removed. Our Central AC lost R-22 refrigerant (pricey), so ripped all out for a heat-pump in the attic, freeing up closet. Air is drawn at the bottom (19.5"W x 24"D). Top outflow (19.5"W x 19"D) was to an AC A-coil Box (below). Includes 6 ft long 6"D double-wall galvanized flue pipe and gas supply tube. Could even use without ductwork to heat a large shop, just run a flue pipe outside, or add short outlets to direct airflow sideways. Set on a return plenum or elevate 12" to draw air directly from the room, but add a filter holder. See my other ads for Round Galv Duct. Across from Rio Americano High School. Home most days.
