1964 Fender Bassman - Pre-CBS AA864

The listing

This is the real deal, the Holy Grail of vintage amps! 1964 Fender Bassman with AA864 circuitry! Pre-CBS, tube label date code is NL = 12/64 AA864 - Original transformers all date to 1964. And yes, those are vintage RCA power tubes that still crank! When I purchased this bad boy, I immediately sent it to legendary Fender amp guru Jim Walton. If you don't know who he is, check him out online. I have used him many times and he has never disappointed me! He determined the original OP transformer was acting wonky - my choice was to replace it or spend more money to have it rebuilt. I opted for the new transformer and the original is included in the sale so you can do with it what you want. See this ad? Then yes, it is still available,
