Ibanez AX110XL Baritone c. 2005

The listing

Sellers like to use the term "rare" a little too casually, but these AX110XL honestly fit the bill. This is darn near a "go find another one" instrument at this point -- only produced for around one year from 2005-2006. If you're looking you know. This instrument is totally stock as far as I can tell. Stock single Ibanez Axis humbucking pickup and fixed bridge, stock tuners - both black hardware of course, stock speed knobs, etc. Not much going on here- simple rock machine with very few "features." Condition is well-played and well-loved, with plenty of dings in the front and back of the body, including some buckle rash, some minor dings in the back of the neck along with some "thumb wear" in the back of the neck at the 1st and 2nd fret. None of these affect playability - they are mildly noticeable but not detrimental in the least. See photos, of course. It plays beautifully -- the frets are great, with just some minor regular wear and almost no pitting. Great action, plays clean up and down the neck and really rings great. A lively instrument that's fun to play on the couch with no amp, but of course roars when amplified. This stock pickup sounds great to me and I never felt any urge to change it. I honestly love this thing but finances are tough right now so I listed it out of necessity -- I realize it's priced high and these were pretty cheap back in the day, but I'd almost rather keep it because it's so cool and I'll probably never find another. I'll consider offers but I'm not gonna be too flexible on price with supply/demand on this one. Thanks for understanding. Decent gig bag included - nothing fancy but respectable.
