This 3/8" chain is very strong. It may be rated between 6600 to 7100 pounds Safe Working Load and a breaking strength about 25,000 pounds. I used a similar chain when I was a teenager to pull stumps out of the ground with our tractor. It weighs about 15 pounds. It's the one on the right in the first picture.
