I bought this Residential natural gas hot water tank (AO Smith) at Lowe's recently. Had some trouble with the connection in my duplex, so I decided to switch to an electric hot water heater. I filled the tank with water once, then drained it; it has never been lit or started. The tank is 40 gallons and about 61 x 20. I have the papers and booklet that came with it. I also believe it may be converted to propane gas; check with Lowe's to find out. I am not sure about that. This is about a $700 hot water heater. This is about all I know. Any questions?
