Up for sale is a rare, late-1990s Epiphone Electar Tube 30 all-tube guitar combo amplifier in very good, gig-ready condition. Powered by 2 12AX7 and 2 EL84 Sovtek tubes. For those unfamiliar, these short-run amps from the Gibson/Epiphone era are absolute hidden gems. The circuit delivers a brilliant sonic hybrid: it pairs a glassy, dynamic Fender-style preamp with the gritty, mid-forward roar of a Marshall and the touch-sensitive chime of a cathode-biased, dual-EL84 Vox AC15 power stage. It responds incredibly well to pick dynamics and serves as a fantastic pedal platform.
